Oncotech is a global MedTech company pioneering AI-driven early cancer detection. Our solutions, Oncollect™,Ophtascan™ and Oncolenz™ support clinical data collection and screening to improve early diagnosis and research outcomes. We are now conducting field research and data collection across Sri Lanka as part of our clinical research and validation process.
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated Clinical Research Assistants to support on-ground clinical data collection in collaboration with healthcare partners. The ideal candidates are new graduates from medical, nursing, biomedical, or allied health programs who are passionate about contributing to cancer research and early detection.
This role involves interacting with patients, collecting demographic and clinical data with Oncollect™ & Ophtascan™ applications, and capturing eye images using Oncolenz™ headset.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site clinical data collection at assigned hospitals/clinics.
- Use the Oncollect™ & Ophtascan™ applications to record patient details and complete questionnaires.
- Capture eye images using Oncolenz™ headset (training will be provided).
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data collected, adhering to research protocol.
- Maintain patient privacy, data confidentiality, and ethical handling of sensitive information.
- Coordinate with Oncotech’s research and technical teams for reporting and troubleshooting.
- Prepare daily activity logs and submit progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- New graduates or students in final year of Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Allied Health or similar fields.
- Applicants should meet the language proficiency criteria outlined in the table.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with patients in clinical settings with professionalism and empathy.
- Must technology inclined and adept at using mobile devices and applications.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
Preferred (but not mandatory)
- Prior experience in clinical research, volunteering, or hospital/clinic exposure.
- Basic understanding of cancer, pathology, or healthcare research ethics.
